
Alaska - Provided integrated team of reservoir engineer, geologist, and geophysicist to BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. for onsite 6-month project on Prudhoe Bay Field. Performed structural mapping and reservoir fluid analysis of GDWFI area over A & B pads. Developed rig workover and infill drilling proposals and presented to field co-owners for approval.
Alaska - Estimated reserves for the Middle Ground Shoal Field, Cook Inlet, including the undeveloped potential of the steeply dipping west flank. The main productive zones are the Tyonek and Hemlock sands and conglomerates.
Appalachia - Estimated reserves and production rates for several hundred coalbed methane wells in western Virginia, including estimates of original gas-in-place, preparation of production type curves, review of reservoir simulation, identification of drilling locations, and preparation of economic forecasts. Conducted annual and acquisition evaluations of several thousand wells in the Appalachian region for several clients, including the Devonian Shale, Berea, Big Lime, Weir, Clinton, Medina, and Virginia coalbed seams.
Appalachia - Evaluated the historical performance of a highly faulted, multi-reservoir gas storage field located in the northern Appalachian Basin. Involved reservoir simulation to validate gas migration volumes claimed by the operator of the storage field. Provided expert testimony and advice to client's attorneys regarding dispositions and other litigation matters, resulting in successful resolution through out-of-court settlement.
Appalachia - Performed physical inspection of wells and equipment on behalf of investment group supporting an operator seeking to acquire marginal gas wells in northern Pennsylvania. Provided a reserves and economics report and, based on the accuracy of our initial review, have performed similar studies on two additional occasions.
California - Performed three petroleum reserve equity determinations for Elk Hills (a major onshore field complex) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy and Chevron U.S.A. Elk Hills Field comprises over 3,000 wells in 4 major intervals that include 64 producing horizons. The field covers over 74 square miles and has cumulative oil production of over 1 billion barrels.
California - Conducted geological, petrophysical, and reservoir engineering study of San Miguelito Field in the Ventura Basin for Conoco, Inc. Involved the evaluation of over 100 wells along with production and injection facilities for the field which produces from steeply dipping reservoirs.
California - Performed reservoir engineering, geological, and geophysical studies of properties including the Antelope Hills, Cymric, Mt. Poso, and Midway-Sunset major heavy oil fields in the San Joaquin Basin; the offshore Point Arguello Field, which produces oil from fractured cherts in the Monterey Formation; and the THUMS Long Beach Unit of the Wilmington Field, including a computer simulation of the Ranger Sand interval.
Gulf Coast - Conducted acquisition evaluations of Robinson's Bend Field in the Black Warrior Basin of Alabama. Continued to update coalbed methane properties on annual basis for the operator, Torch Energy Advisors Inc., with evaluation of refrac candidates and additional development drilling locations.
Gulf Coast - Performed integrated geological, geophysical, and engineering study of Raccoon Point Field in the Sunniland Carbonate trend of Florida.
Gulf Coast - Performed evaluations of Louisiana fields including a detailed study of a large portion of the Lake Raccourci Field using 3-D seismic to assist in the evaluation of newly drilled wells in partially drained portions of the field; a geologic and engineering study of Fordoche Field to determine the expected results of the gas cycling/blowdown project; and reserves and future revenue estimates for Bay Junop, Bayou Penchant, Four Isle Dome, and Sunrise Fields for multiple clients.
Gulf Coast - Evaluated the Lake Washington Field, Louisiana, for multiple clients. This salt dome related field produces over 40 sands from more than 100 wells and has been produced by waterflood, gas cycling, and gas injection projects as well as conventional water-drive and pressure-depletion mechanisms.
Gulf Coast - Performed storage screening study for a gas-pipeline affiliate of Exxon Corporation to identify natural gas reservoirs in company-operated fields in Louisiana and Mississippi suitable for gas storage development.
Gulf Coast - Evaluated several recent discoveries in Galveston Bay, which produce primarily from Vicksburg and Frio formations, using reservoir simulation and 3-D seismic interpretation.
Gulf Coast - Evaluated existing Travis Peak and Cotton Valley wells and proved undeveloped infill locations in Beckville, Blocker, Carthage, Cedar Springs, North Lansing, Oak Hill, Opelika, Rosewood, North Tatum, Tri-Cities, Waskom, White Oak, Willow Springs, and Woodlawn Fields for numerous clients. Work included evaluation of the Cotton Valley reserves through the use of drainage pattern maps, ultimate recovery maps, offset analysis, and type curves.
Gulf Coast - Conducted study of drilling programs designed by a major oil company for financial investors. These programs included a large number of wells and infill locations in Beckville, Bethany, Carthage, Cayuga, Lassater, Teague, and Willow Springs Fields in East Texas as well as McAllen Ranch and Monte Christo Fields in South Texas.
Gulf Coast - Conducted detailed geological and reservoir engineering studies for properties including a large, overpressured South Texas Olmos gas field, resulting in the identification of approximately 50 infill drilling and field extension opportunities; most of the horizontal wells drilled in the Austin Chalk trend of Central Texas, resulting in reserve estimates and rate performance predictions for existing and proposed wells; the Yegua, Cook Mountain, and Queen City reserve potential for certain acreage in Starr County, Texas, including review of 3-D seismic data; the large, over-pressured McAllen Ranch Vicksburg Field in South Texas, resulting in the identification of several workover, infill drilling, and field extension opportunities; and the Wilcox Lopeno Sands in the prolific, structurally complex Bob West and North Bob West Fields located in Starr and Zapata Counties, Texas.
Gulf Coast - Provided geologic and engineering consulting to operators active in the East Texas Field, giving special attention to water balancing and marketing issues.
Gulf Coast - Evaluated the Shell Oil Company interest in Bryans Mill Field located in East Texas for potential acquisition. This field is a large, retrograde gas cycling project which had progressed to the blowdown stage. Our evaluation involved volumetric gas-in-place determinations, material balance, gas deliverability predictions, economic evaluation of enhancement opportunities, and estimates of reserves and future net revenue.
Gulf Coast - Conducted a study of the Bossier Trend for a potential acquisition. Included the examination of hundreds of producing wells, development of type curves, analysis of petrophysical properties, and evaluation of economic results for the newer completions using evolving fracture treatment techniques.
Gulf Coast - Provided seismic program design, management, and interpretation in conjunction with geophysical, geological, and engineering evaluation of prospects for an independent oil company. Work led to three Vicksburg field extensions in South Texas.
Gulf Coast - Performed semiannual evaluations of proved, probable, and possible reserves for a major South Texas Lobo Trend operator, including analysis of over 1,000 developed wells as well as a substantial amount of undeveloped acreage.
Gulf of Mexico - Evaluated a majority of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico fields for multiple clients, including 3-D seismic interpretation, petrophysical and fluid property analysis, reservoir simulation predictions, probabilistic reserves analysis, and deliverability profiles. Some of the fields include Alabaster, Allegheny, Amberjack, Arnold, Auger, Bison, Bud, Bullwinkle, Busch, Cervesa, Cervesa Ligera, Cinnamon, Cognac, Cooper, Diana, Dove, East Breaks 158/160/165, Ewing Bank 826, Garden Banks 236, Garden Banks 386/388, Garden Banks 667/668/669 (Gunnison Prospect), Genesis, Green Canyon 29, Green Canyon 608 (Marco Polo Project), Jolliett, Lafitt Pincay, Lena, Mars, Mickey, Neptune, Pabst, Pompano, Popeye, Ram Powell, Seattle Slew, Sunday Silence, Tahoe, Thor, Ursa, and Vancouver.
Gulf of Mexico - Performed geophysical, geological, and engineering study in conjunction with serving as a third party expert for Shell, BP, Exxon, and Conoco in an equity determination of the deepwater Ursa project.
Gulf of Mexico - Conducted reservoir engineering and geological field studies for 53 offshore fields on behalf of Shell Offshore Inc. These studies, conducted in several groups over an 8-year period, resulted in recommendations for workover, drilling, and enhanced oil recovery projects.
Gulf of Mexico - Conducted integrated field study, incorporating 3-D seismic, for West Delta Block 30 Field. This large, salt dome field has several hundred wells on 10 platforms and includes multistacked pays, an active waterflood, and deep, abnormally-pressured gas.
Gulf of Mexico - Performed gas storage feasibility study of Chandeleur Area Block 29 Field located in federal waters offshore Louisiana. Evaluation included detailed subsurface geologic mapping, material balance and volumetric storage capacity determinations, and gas deliverability and injectivity predictions.
Gulf of Mexico - Conducted a reservoir characterization study used to delineate areas of bypass oil and to optimize oil production and gascap blowdown of a major producing formation in the South Timbalier area offshore Louisiana of behalf of Energy Partners Ltd. Conducted petrophysical analysis; performed 3 D seismic interpretation using continuity cubes, time slices, and seismic attribute analysis; generated reservoir maps; and input results of geologic study into reservoir simulation software to obtain history match and predict future performance.
Gulf of Mexico - Evaluated the Offshore Energy and Development Corporation interest in 5 blocks in the Mobile Bay Area offshore Alabama for potential acquisition. Included 3-D and 2-D seismic interpretation, subsurface mapping, nodal analysis, material balance, and volumetric gas-in-place determinations.
Gulf of Mexico - Provided reservoir engineering, geological, and geophysical studies of the dedicated gas reserves, gas deliverability, and additional reserve potential for the Dauphin Island Gathering System on behalf of Swiss Bank Corporation.
Michigan - Evaluated Michigan Antrim gas assets for wells producing in Otsego and Montmorency Counties, including study of changes in carbon dioxide content over time. Completed extensive work in the Prairie du Chien and the shallow Antrim Shale plays for multiple clients.
Michigan - Reviewed the technical feasibility of conversion of Niagaran Reef fields to gas storage service. Involved screening near-depleted fields to identify storage conversion candidates as part of a divestment evaluation for a major oil company.
Michigan - Performed annual reserve evaluations for two independent oil and gas companies owning interests in Michigan northern and southern reef properties, some of which produce sour gas.
Mid-Continent - Performed reservoir engineering and geological studies of the dedicated reserves and additional reserve potential for three gas gathering systems on behalf of BP Exploration Inc. Included evaluation of the developed and undeveloped reserves for existing fields producing dedicated volumes of over 600 million cubic feet of gas per day. Also evaluated the exploration potential for areas that could be dedicated to these systems in the future.
Mid-Continent - Performed an integrated geologic and reservoir simulation study of Grayson Field in Arkansas to evaluate an optimum field depletion plan.
Mid-Continent - Evaluated reserves for Illinois Basin coalbed methane properties in Sullivan County, Indiana. This project was in the early stage of development.
Mid-Continent - Performed a comprehensive geologic, reservoir performance, and operations study of the Cunningham Gas Storage Field in Kansas for Northern Natural Gas Company. Provided expert testimony on behalf of the client to the Kansas Corporation Commission regarding the suitability of underground storage in the field and the native recoverable hydrocarbon volumes in the storage formations. Involved designing and coordinating cased-hole logging programs and pressure transient tests; sampling native and storage gases to determine chemical and isotopic compositions; auditing the production operations of Northern and outside operators in the field; and ongoing surveillance of storage inventory and field performance. A favorable order was issued allowing Northern to expand its storage operations to include the Simpson Formation.
Mid-Continent - Evaluated most of the properties in the Arkoma Basin of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas for multiple clients. This basin contains many major faults as well as extensive folding, and produces gas from over 20 zones from Pennsylvanian to Ordovician in age.
Mid-Continent - Completed a reserve study of the East Velma West Block Aldridge Sand Unit CO2 injection project in Oklahoma. The study incorporated seismic, petrophysical, and fluid property analysis along with reservoir simulation for history match and prediction. Provided forecasts of CO2 injection requirements, cycling, and oil under optimum development scenario.
Mid-Continent - Provided detailed analysis of the Mobil Exploration and Producing U.S. Inc. interest in the Putnam Oswego Gas Cycling Unit located in Dewey County, Oklahoma.
Mid-Continent - Performed regional study of the Mocane-Laverne and Fort Cobb areas in Oklahoma for Shell Oil Company. Detailed analysis included geologic interpretation of the entire area for all productive or potentially productive sands.
Mid-Continent - Conducted a study of the Sims Sand Unit CO2 flood in Oklahoma involving the flood performance to date in this dipping reservoir along with plans for expansion into new areas and formations.
Mid-Continent - Evaluated the Postle CO2 flood in Oklahoma for potential acquisition, and subsequently for several annual reserve updates. Included assessments of planned infill drilling, workover, and CO2 flood expansion projects.
Mid-Continent/Permian - Helped Conoco Inc. management restructure its investment portfolio by identifying strategic asset sales for its Western Division. Facilitated the divestiture of property packages in New Mexico, northwestern Oklahoma, southern Oklahoma, the Rocky Mountains, South Texas, and West Texas.
Permian Basin - Completed various West Texas reservoir simulation studies, including simulating the effect of size and frequency alternation of miscible solvents and water slugs on a miscible displacement project for the Sacroc Carbonate Reef; determining miscible slug size and optimizing depletion strategy for Pegasus Field; and optimizing injection strategy and well density for water injection projects in Wasson Field, which produces from the San Andres Dolomite.
Permian Basin - Provided technical assistance to the bankruptcy trustee for the East Iatan Howard Field, Howard County, Texas. Estimated reserves, selected new operator to maximize the market value of the properties, and set up the bid process and data room to aid in the successful sale.
Permian Basin - Performed detailed engineering and geological field studies of 25 large West Texas carbonate reservoirs on behalf of Mobil Exploration and Producing U.S. Inc. Included evaluation of existing and planned enhanced oil recovery projects. Incorporated specific recommendations for reservoir management and additional drilling into our report.
Permian Basin - Conducted geophysical, geological, and engineering evaluations of Pinnacle Reef discoveries in the Canyon Reef of the Horseshoe Atoll of Fisher, Scurry, Howard, Borden, and Dawson Counties, Texas, for an independent exploration company.
Permian Basin - Evaluated deep Fusselman prospect in Loving County, Texas, for an independent oil company. Project involved geophysical, geological, and engineering interpretation of subsurface well control, 2-D seismic data, and analogous offset well data.
Permian Basin - Completed a reserves analysis by category of enhanced oil recovery for the SACROC Unit, which is the largest CO2 flood in the world. Our evaluation used incremental oil versus injected CO2/water charts based on simulation model results and analogs. Also completed full field, pattern-by-pattern evaluation of proved, probable, and possible reserves and future net revenue for the giant SACROC CO2 flood in Scurry County, Texas.
Permian Basin - Prepared significant reserve determination of properties for Altura Energy, Ltd. for divestiture purposes (reserves of approximately 3 billion barrels of oil equivalent), including a majority of the CO2 miscible floods in the Permian Basin along with several large gas plants. This included a study of the Denver Unit CO2 flood in West Texas which is the second largest CO2 flood in the world, and involved an assessment of recent infill drilling and pattern realignment projects along with plans to increase the CO2 slug size. Other projects included were Wasson ODC, Anton Irish, Slaughter Area, and Cedar Creek.
Permian Basin - Conducted a study of the Dollarhide Devonian CO2 flood in West Texas to estimate reserves, flowstreams, and injection requirements. Evaluated the impact that fracture stimulations were having on reservoir performance and processing rate. Estimated reserves for CO2 recovery in the offset East Dollarhide Field.
Permian Basin - Conducted a study of the low temperature, low pressure CO2 flood in North Ward Estes Field in West Texas. Determined reasons for potential miscibility problems as well as corrective actions; estimated proved, probable, and possible reserves for several expansion projects in the field; and determined the impact of restoring water injection to unsupported areas and infill drilling.
Permian Basin - Estimated reserves, flowstreams, CO2 injection, and recycle requirements for several fields in the Levelland/Slaughter area of West Texas including the Levelland, Southeast Levelland, Central Levelland, Slaughter Estate, Mallet, Frazier, East RKM, West RKM, and Sundown Units.
Permian Basin - Prepared an evaluation of the Adair San Andres Unit in West Texas. This evaluation included an assessment of the performance of the ongoing CO2 flood in the central portion of the field, expansion potential to the surrounding field areas, and the recent and planned re-entry horizontal drilling program.
Permian Basin - Conducted a reserve study of the Yates Field in Texas, including the effect of the double displacement nitrogen injection process on enhanced oil recovery. This project has subsequently been converted to CO2 injection.
Rocky Mountain - Conducted detailed reservoir engineering and geological studies of Colorado properties including evaluation of the tight gas Mesaverde Reservoir in Mam Creek Field in the Piceance Basin and computer simulation of certain viscous oil fields for horizontal drilling potential in the DJ Basin.
Rocky Mountain - Conduct annual evaluation of coalbed methane properties located in the Raton Basin of southeastern Colorado for several clients. The properties produce from the Cretaceous Vermejo and Paleocene Raton Formation coals.
Rocky Mountain - Estimated reserves and production rates for over 1,000 coalbed methane producers in the San Juan Basin in northwestern New Mexico and southwestern Colorado. Projects for several clients included evaluations of Unit 30 6, Unit 29-6, Unit 29-5, and the Northeast Blanco Unit.
Rocky Mountain - Estimated original gas-in-place, reserves, and deliverability for a coalbed methane project in the southwestern Colorado portion of the San Juan Basin on behalf of AIG Financial Products Corp. The 30 wells in the project area are prolific producers, averaging over 5 million cubic feet of gas per day per well.
Rocky Mountain - Performed a reserve and deliverability study of the McElmo Dome CO2 Field in Colorado. Incorporated seismic, petrophysical, and material balance history matching. Used reservoir simulation to match historical field performance and investigate future deliverability potential based on numerous scenarios that included surface facility options and additional drilling locations.
Rocky Mountain - Estimated reserves for the Drunkards Wash Unit located in Carbon and Emery Counties, Utah, including both a volumetric and performance-based evaluation of producing and undeveloped acreage. The wells produce coalbed methane gas from the Ferron coals. Have also conducted semi-annual evaluations of the Huntington and Orangeville coalbed methane areas, just south of the Drunkards Wash Unit, and have estimated original gas-in-place, production flowstreams, and reserves for a project producing from the Blackhawk coal in the Uinta Basin.
Rocky Mountain - Have evaluated original gas-in-place, production flowstreams, and reserves for several thousand coalbed methane wells located across the Powder River Basin in Campbell County, Wyoming. Projects have included evaluation of the producing reserves and undeveloped potential, both proven and unproven, for the various coal seams in the area: Fort Union, Wyodak, Anderson, Canyon, Big George, Cook, etc.
Rocky Mountain - Conducted detailed reservoir engineering and geological studies of Wyoming properties including evaluations of the overpressured Lance Reservoir in Jonah Field, Sublette County, and the multiple-zone Madden Field located in Fremont and Natrona Counties.
Rocky Mountain - Prepared an audit of the proved reserves for the Greater Anether Field located in the Paradox Basin in New Mexico. This field includes the Aneth, McElmo Creek, and Ratherford Units. A geologic evaluation was undertaken to determine the volumes of oil-in-place in all 3 units using well log information. Reserves were estimated for the McElmo Creek Unit which is a mature CO2 flood utilizing horizontal wells. Reserves were also evaluated for the planned CO2 expansion projects in the Aneth and Ratherford Units which are currently being waterflooded, along with horizontal infill drilling programs in all 3 units.
Operations - Provide ongoing advisory oversight for oil and gas interests owned by two estates including AFE approval, joint interest billing approval, and yearly reserve depletion report. Due to the success of our efforts, one estate has requested that we assist in an aggressive acquisition program.
Operations - Acted as operations manager for an independent oil and gas company. Coordinated daily operations, workovers, drilling, and oil marketing for operated wells in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico; approved or rejected AFEs for outside-operated leases; and managed gas marketing, land, general accounting, and personnel activities.
Other - Provided reserve estimates and expert testimony on behalf of TransCanada Energy Marketing for governmental hearings regarding the feasibility of building the Express Pipeline to move crude oil from Canada into United States refineries.
Other - Worked closely with Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and Amoco Production Company on the implementation of the MW Petroleum Inc. property divestment. Involved evaluation of 4,600 oil and gas properties, discussions with potential management teams, data room support, and bank syndication reviews.
Other - Estimated proved, probable, and possible reserves and economics for over 250 drilling locations in Alaska, Kansas, Louisiana, Texas, and the Gulf of Mexico for a limited partnership drilling fund of a major oil company.

Alberta - Conducted study of the proved reserves and future revenue to the Quicksilver Resources, Inc. interest in certain coalbed methane (CBM) and conventional gas properties in the Alberta Province. The majority of the Quicksilver reserves are from the Horseshoe Canyon Coals in 9 field areas called Beiseker, Gayford, Murphy Twining, Conoco Fenn Big Valley, Conoco Ghost Pine, NCE Penhold, Ice Joffre, Ice New Norway, and Burlington Ferrybank. The Gayford and Beiseker fields are the first commercial CBM projects in Canada. Developed empirical relationships for pressure versus depth for each field area, estimated gas content constants (Langmuir volume and pressure) for each field including adjustments for ash content and moisture, and calculated original gas-in-place for each coal in each spacing unit. Prepared independent geologic maps for each coal member including structural tops and thicknesses for the Ardley, Carbon Thompson, Weaver/Garden Plains, Drumheller, Rockyford Standard, Basal, and Lethbridge coal members of the Horseshoe Canyon.
Alberta - Conducted an independent reserve evaluation for Compton Petroleum Corporation in accordance with the CSA NI-51-101 guidelines for properties located in Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba. The majority of their reserves are located in the Hooker and Okotoks Field Areas in Southern Alberta. The Hooker Field Area produces from the Basal Quartz tight gas reservoirs at a depth of approximately 2,300 meters, and the Okotoks Field Area produces from the Wabamun sour tight gas reservoir.
Alberta - Perform semi-annual evaluations of the proved, probable, and possible reserves of Evergreen Canada. These properties are located in the Carbon, Cessford, Drumheller, Hoffer, Lone Pine, Rowley, and Saddle Hills Fields of Alberta.
Alberta - Performed reserve and economic evaluations for the Hangingstone Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) demonstration project within the Athabasca oil sands area of northeastern Alberta, Canada. The bitumen response observed in the horizontal producer-injector well pairs was quantified and used to evaluate planned project expansions within the demonstration area and the larger Hangingstone West area.
Alberta/British Columbia - Evaluated the Canadian properties owned by Marathon Canada for potential acquisition. These properties were located primarily in northern and southern Alberta and northeastern British Columbia.

Mexico - Conducted engineering, geophysical, and geological evaluations and prepared estimates of the reserves and future revenue for 41 fields located in the Bay of Campeche for Pemex Exploración y Producción. Completed a geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and reservoir engineering evaluation of the offshore Cantarell Field, which involved creation of a compositional simulation model to evaluate enhanced recovery operations in this world class field now producing over 2 million barrels of oil per day. Initial simulation work resulted in recommendation and ultimate implementation of world's largest nitrogen injection pressure maintanence project. Ongoing advisory and simulation work used for recommending drilling locations, workovers, and artificial lift enhancements.
Mexico - Conducted engineering, geophysical, and geological evaluations and prepared estimates of the reserves and future revenue for 244 onshore and offshore fields located in the states of Chiapas, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, and Veracruz for Pemex Exploración y Producción.
Mexico - Performed detailed evaluation of approximately 60 gas fields administered by the Oriental, Central, and Occidental activos within the Burgos Basin District of northern Mexico for Pemex Exploración y Producción. Also performed integrated study including geocellular modeling (Petrel) and reservoir simulation (Eclipse) of the Brasil Field in Burgos Basin to determine suitability as a gas storage field and optimum redevelopment strategy.
Mexico - Performed reserve and economic assessments, development plan review and preparation, and review and revision of simulation models for the planned floods in the Bermúdez and Jujo-Tecominoacán Fields located in the Yucatan area of Mexico. A common nitrogen generation plant will supply both projects. The Bermúdez flood is expected to be operated at a nitrogen injection rate of 235 MMCF per day, with 65 MMCF per day of injection at Jujo-Tecominoacán.

Barbados - Performed an integrated geological, petrophysical, and engineering field study along with several annual reserve evaluations comprising approximately 200 wells in all onshore producing areas. Also performed a detailed geophysical and geological study of the island-wide exploration potential beyond those areas currently producing.
Belize - Performed integrated basin and exploration risk analysis of an offshore concession including geochemical modeling and source rock volumetric analysis.
Trinidad and Tobago - Reviewed well abandonment programs prepared for the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Petrotrin) for 63 wells designated for abandonment. Toured the proposed industrial complex at Union Estate, La Brea, and reviewed all local requirements for well abandonment to ensure compliance. Also reviewed international standards and provided our conclusions and recommendations for improvements/modifications to the programs. Work was conducted on behalf of the National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (NEC).
Trinidad and Tobago - Evaluated all oil and gas holdings of Petrotrin Limited, formed by the consolidation of Trintopec and Trintoc, the government-owned exploration and production companies. Evaluation included onshore production located in the Southern Basin, offshore fields located in the Soldado Area off the southwest coast of Trinidad, and a deep offshore gas condensate field (the L-Block Concession) located off the southeast coast of Trinidad. Conducted extensive geological mapping of L-Block Field and prepared engineering estimates of reserves and economics.
