Argentina - Conducted reservoir engineering, geological, and geophysical studies of several discoveries, including El Trapial Field, in the Huantraico and Confluencia Blocks located in the Neuquen Basin on behalf of Petrolera Argentina San Jorge S.A. The International Finance Corporation is an equity owner in these blocks.

Argentina - Conducted study of the Agua del Cajon and Senillosa Concessions in the Neuquen Basin of western Argentina to determine the available fuel gas supply for electric power generation for 93- and 137-megawatt power plants to be constructed on the concessions. Study included gas deliverability calculations under alternate development scenarios to assist the owners in obtaining project financing.

Argentina - Completed geophysical, geological, petrophysical, and engineering evaluation of the Sierra Chata gas field in the Neuquen Basin. Evaluation included investigation of relationship between geophysical and petrophysical attributes to further understand the contribution of the various rock types and qualities to production rates and ultimate gas recovery.

Argentina - Performed a scoping review for potential CO2 miscible floods for several fields located in the Neuquen and Mendoza regions.  Four fields were identified as candidates: La Ventana, Barrancas, Medanito, and Chuido de la Salida.  Scoping economics prepared for each potential project included reserves, production, and injection profiles; CO2 deliveries; capital and operating expense requirements; and net cash flows.  This work also included an evaluation of potential CO2 source fields, including drilling and infrastructure requirements.

Argentina - Evaluated reserves and future revenue for the Santa Cruz I, Santa Cruz II, and Tierra del Fuego Blocks located in the Austral Basin of southern Argentina. Included 18 oil and gas fields with 283 wells along with associated oil pipelines, gathering systems, and production facilities.

Argentina - Prepared reserve certifications for the Canadon Alfa and Carina gas fields located in the Austral Basin offshore Tierra del Fuego. Included 3-D seismic interpretation; structural and petrophysical evaluations; material balance, deliverability, pipeline network, and reservoir simulation modeling; determinations of the original gas-in-place, reserves, and production profiles; and economic evaluation.

Argentina - Performed engineering, geological, and economic studies of several fields in the Northwest Basin. Included evaluation of the Cuchuma Field for a large international oil company and evaluation of the Caimancito oil field for potential purchase. A portion of this work resulted in a successful acquisition from YPF S.A.

Argentina - Reviewed the major producing fields of Bridas Corporation located in several basins throughout Argentina for potential acquisition. Also performed a detailed analysis of the exploration potential of the Acambuco Block in the Northwest Basin.

Bolivia

Bolivia - Conducted engineering, geophysical, and geological evaluations of 34 fields to be dedicated to the Bolivia-to-Brazil Pipeline Project. Included estimates of proved, probable, and possible reserves; gas deliverability; and future revenue. Served on the management, finance, and technical committees along with The World Bank and the six participating companies.

Bolivia - Performed complete facility inventory in preparation for sale of selected properties for YPF Bolivia. Provided a physical inventory, a report on all producing leases, and a depreciated valuation of the equipment.

Brazil

Brazil - Conducted a reserve certification of the Petrobras-operated Barracuda and Caratinga Fields in the deepwater region of the Campos Basin. These 2 fields lie in 600 to 1,400 meter water depths and produce from up to 7 different Oligocene to Eocene age turbidite reservoirs. Work consisted of an independent volumetric evaluation to estimate the original oil-in-place and an engineering analysis incorporating reservoir simulation of the existing pilot production and the full field development plan to estimate the ultimate recoverable reserves in each of the reservoirs through the end of the Production Sharing Agreement.

Colombia

Colombia - Performed a review of the client's exploration and development program for the Putumayo Basin. Addressed tectonic models, seismic interpretation, and other exploration considerations affecting prospect risks.

Colombia - Estimated reserves and future revenue for Abarco, Cocorna, Girasol, Jazmin, Nare, Teca, Under River, and Velasquez Fields located in the Middle Magdelena Basin on behalf of Saba Petroleum Company; Omimex de Colombia, Ltd.; and Mansarovar Energy Colombia, Ltd. These fields contain a combination of heavy oil under steamflood and intermediate gravity oil under primary and secondary recovery.

Ecuador

Ecuador - Estimated reserves and future net revenue for the Blocks 14, 17, and Shiripuno Concessions located in the Oriente Basin for Vintage Petroleum, Inc. These fields produce primarily from the Hollin, Upper Napo, and Tena Reservoirs. Work included an integrated study of geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and engineering information. Economic model incorporated terms of production sharing agreements and risk service contract and an optimization of the development drilling schedule to maintain maximum oil production.

Ecuador - Evaluated oil and gas properties in Pacoa Field, Progreso Basin, including a field operations review of the properties and estimates of the reserves and future revenue.

Peru

Peru - Performed engineering and geological studies of 13 onshore and offshore fields located in the Talara Basin. This area is characterized by complex geology with many wells producing by artificial lift. Our estimates of reserves and future revenue were used as a basis to evaluate the potential acquisition of these properties from PetroPeru, the national oil company of Peru.

Peru - Conducted engineering and geological studies of 15 Occidental-operated oil fields located in the Maranon Basin within the jungles of northern Peru. Typical wells produce large volumes of low-gravity oil with high water cut using electric submersible pumps. Our estimates of reserves and future revenue were used as a basis to evaluate the possible purchase of the operating contract for these properties.

Peru - Evaluated gas, condensate, and plant liquid reserves and provided engineering services for Aguaytia Field in the Ucayali Basin in central Peru to investigate the feasibility of installing a gas plant, 155-megawatt electric power generation plant, and the associated power transmission line across the Andes mountains. Perform annual reserve evaluations including 3-D simulation modeling to optimize recovery given potential lean gas breakthrough and NGL loss below dewpoint on this gas cycling project.

Suriname

Suriname - Estimated proved, probable, and possible oil reserves and future revenue to the Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. interest in Tambaredjo Field.

Venezuela

Venezuela - Estimated reserves and future revenue for Cabimas Field located in northwestern Venezuela on the shore of Lake Maracaibo to assist interest owner in securing financing for a redevelopment program.

Venezuela
- Evaluated reserves and future net cash flow for ten Service Operating Agreements: Acema, Guarico Occidental, La Concepción, Mene Grande, Monogas Sur, Oritupano Leoni, Quiamare-La Ceiba, Mata, Quiriquire, and Urdaneta Oeste. These evaluations were prepared on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and included evaluations of infill drilling, workover, and secondary recovery programs along with modeling of the specific fiscal terms of these agreements.

Venezuela

Venezuela
- Conducted a study of the Cerro Negro heavy oil development project in the Orinoco area, which required a review of the performance to date of very long reach horizontal wells and estimation of future drilling requirements to meet the contracted oil delivery schedule.  Also evaluated the likelihood of a commercial development in the La Ceiba block in the Maracaibo area.

Venezuela
- Conducted a study of the Acema Casma Field in eastern Venezuela for an acquisition evaluation.
